Greece Update, June 16

Papandreou seeks vote of confidence from parliament. Can you believe this? Does he think it will matter? The organs of state terror will either succeed in suppressing this revolt of the people, in which case he won't need a pat on the back from the legislature; or the state thugs will fail, in which case the vote of confidence will be meaningless. But I suppose there is nothing else that creep can do.

He's going to appoint a new cabinet, but in the same breadth he says he's committed to moving forward with these merciless austerity measure.
