O-Seattle Update, Oct 15

Sanity returned to the GA Friday. After the counterproductive, one might say reactionary efforts of the accommodationists won the day the night before, O-Seattle regained its footing and is once again a protest movement rather than the truth-and-reconciliation travesty it was rapidly becoming.

The rift between the radicals and the reformists was addressed frankly. It is not likely that the two tendencies will ever unite, but at least the movement has overcome its denial and is acknowledging the divisions which exist (and always do in such insurrections).

That's all for now. Today is the big day. The odds always favor the ruling class in any single conflict, but what is unlikely in the short term is inevitable in the long run. Today global class struggle begins anew, who knows, maybe this time...
