Khaled Said Follow Up

Said is the young man responsible for setting off the rebellion in Egypt. He was in a cyber cafe when he noticed something unusual. He trained his camera on two cops and another person and, as it turned out he was recording the police receiving their kickback from the drug-dealing they permitted to occur. Somehow, they became aware of Said and dragged him out of the cafe and into a squad car. Shortly thereafter Said's mutilated corpse surfaced (can't remember the details). His jaw had been broken and suffered many another hideous injury. His autopsy photos can be viewed online, but I warn you, they are the stuff nightmares are made of.

The police in question are on trial, and it appears the Mubarak-Regime-Sans-Mubarak is trying to protect them.
