September 02, 2011 "TV News Lies"-- During the past 10 years I have not met a single individual who, after doing research on the subject then, switched from questioning the official narrative of the events of 9/11/2001 to believing the official narrative of those events.. It is always the other way around. Why do you think that is? There are good reasons for this, and I will try to explain this phenomenon right now.
The whole fetid, festering mess that is contemporary American realpolitik depends for its day-to-day existence upon one great deception--the government can be trusted. The American people believe that its government is looking after their interests, and when it fails it does so not because it is venal, but because it embarked upon a misguided policy and/or failed in its implementation. The idea that a handful of wealthy families control the country and direct it ruthlessly for their own benefit is just too Macchiavellian for the average American to contemplate, and so generation after generation believe the same old lies told by the same old liars.
If you are reading this and thinking that I have to be insane to believe that the American Government was behind 9/11, may I respectfully suggest you pull your head out of your ass and take a good, honest look around. If you cannot believe that Americans in our government could kill innocent Americans then consider this: More Americans have died in Iraq and Afghanistan (just to name a few) than died at the WTC. Yes, you say, but that was a mistake! They thought Saddam had WMD. More Americans have died in Iraq since Saddam was deposed than died on 9/11.
Meanwhile, billions in profits from the Afghani oil pipeline and Iraq's oil wells have flowed into corporations owned wholly or in part by the Bush and Cheney families. Just another coincidence for the coincidence theorists I'm sure.
