An absolutely hysterical piece of journaganda from Spain's El Pais (The Nation). It's one of those newspapers with whom Wikileaks shares its documents[?] and this latest release is a real knee-slapper. A cheap Casio watch "is the mark of al-Qaeda." And they use these timepieces to make bombs, according to some Guantanamo inmates. According to Luis Doncel, the author, that many of the men captured and taken to Guantanamo had these cheap watches corroborates the information presented by the aforementioned informants. The terror network would deliver these watches to al-Qaeda training camp recruits in Afghanistan and they would learn how to make explosives out of them.
That's as far as I got because I was laughing so hard by this point that my eyes were watering. Who knew that Casio made weapons of mass destruction! They wont be cheap much longer though...
