CAIRO: Egypt’s former President Hosni Mubarak most likely will not be present when his trial begins on Wednesday, top Egyptian officials said on Sunday. The announcement is not going to sit well with activists who have demanded that Mubarak be moved to Cairo to attend the trial.
The reason, the official was reported to say, was a result of his poor health.
I'm surprised they haven't whacked him yet. In any case, his employers will never let him take the stand.
