This man doesn't care about you. He doesn't care about America or anyplace else. Representative government doesn't represent. Polls show the austerity reforms are not supported by the people. If America was a democracy, that is instead of a republic, the bailouts, the austerity, QE1 & 2, the endless wars etc. would not be happening. Our "representatives" don't represent us, they represent Wall Street, they represent capital. Voting for people who then go to Washington for years at a time and make decisions we have to live with whether we like it or not, is that democracy? Is it sanity?
Bottom-up, grassroots democracy, local self-rule, an idea whose time has come.
