Selling short (betting that a stock will decline in value) is what torpedoed Greek bonds, now their stock market is under attack. This gesture by the supine government is largely cosmetic, the Greek horse has long ago left the barn and is now stabled at the ECB.
What is happening to Greece is a crime of immense proportion.
