I'm no fan of theocracies, and the Khomeiniites (with the help of the US) destroyed the Iranian Revolution, but here Ahmadinejad makes some good points. Just for the record, I don't believe his anti-nuclear position, at least in so far as he claims he's not trying to develop one. He probably does want a nuclear free ME and world.
He says that Israel was created to be an agressor, I think it's important to make a distinction between the real Zionists, whose hopes are to sustain the Jewish state and to live in piece with its neighbors (once they have ethnically cleansed them), and the Western oligarchy who doesn't give a damn about Israel or aliyah or any of it. I thought it was a calculated omission on Ahmadinejad's part.
