Norman Finkelstein, Short Documentary

There are some people who just make my skin crawl: Donald Rumsfeld, Scott Walker, George Will...

One is interviewed in this film. Is there anyone more repulsive than Alan Dershowitz? At the end he says Finkelstein "is not a scholar, he's a propagandist." The pot blackens the kettle.

What has always puzzled me about the distortionist efforts of the Zionist claque, or any other for that matter, is how guileless it all is. In this film, Noam Chomsky says Finkelstein is a careful, methodical scholar. Dershowitz asserts the opposite. How bold the latter is! A reading of Finkelstein's work will expose Dershowitz as the loathsome liar he is, yet he is willing to take this chance. One would think that he would employ a more artful argument, one that he could defend if challenged by somebody who might read the work in question, but he is confidant enough to bleat out this accusation that even the most ardent Finkelstein-haters would recognize as baseless.

My only problem with the film is its title. However controversial Finkelstein might be, he is not a radical. Or if he is it is not discussed in the books in contention in the documentary. I've read everything save Beyond Chutzpah, and there is no talk of radical politics in what I've seen.
